Peacock - A beautiful bird

Aarav’s favorite bird is Peacock, there was a project given to him from his school to write on 5 birds and to give presentation on any one bird.

He prepared his project on 5 birds, Peacock, Ostrich, Penguins, White Stork and Nightingale and for his presentation he selected peacock.

I am going to post the images and article that he prepared for his project. First i am starting with the Peacock.

Peacock

The peacock is the national bird of India.
Peacock is a wild bird by nature.
Peacock refers to male bird, females are peahens and babies are peachicks.
They are found in dry semi-desert grasslands, scrub and deciduous forests.
They are forest birds that nest on the ground.
It eats seeds, insects, fruits, small mammals and reptiles.
The peacock’s beak is on average an inch long, black, curved.
Peacock feathers are beautiful in colors like blue, green, gold.
They also have a crown on top their head.
They lay a clutch of 4-8 eggs which take 28 days to hatch. The eggs are light brown in color. Peachicks are yellow and brown, and all wings.
